We believe that the Bible is the divinely-inspired Word of God and contains a perfect doctrine sufficient for life. We hold the Word of God to be the only authority in all matters. We believe the Bible holds the only plan of salvation. The Bible is God's written Word which forms the basis of Christianity. It contains God's instructions to man and the record of God's interaction with mankind. 2Tim. 3:16
The Trinity
The Father:
We believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Author and finisher of our faith, the first person of the Trinity. We recognize the relationship of God to Jesus as Father - John 15:8; 14:20. We believe that God is our Heavenly Father - Matt. 6:8,9.
The Son:
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the second person in the Godhead of the Trinity. We believe that Jesus was, is and always will be eternal in his person and nature as the Son of God who was with God in the beginning of creation - John 1:1. He was born of a virgin called Mary - Matt. 1:18. Jesus the Son became the savior of the world. He redeemed man from sin and reconciled him back to God. Jesus is now the mediator between God and man.
The Holy Spirit:
We believe the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost is the third person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is a gift bestowed upon the believer for the purpose of equipping and empowering the believer, making him an effective witness in the world. We believe if you have the Spirit of God then you belong to Him - Rom. 8:9,10.
The Baptism of the Holy Ghost:
We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Ghost is an experience that only a saved person can receive. We believe that tongue-speaking is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost -Acts 2:4; 10:46-47. We believe that we are not baptized with the Holy Ghost in order to be saved - Acts 19:2,
The church is a called out assembly. The church is baptized believers in Christ. It is a spiritual unity of which Christ is the divine head - Eph. 5:23. Jesus first spoke of the "church" in the book of Matthew 16:18. It's built on God revealed Word - John 3:5-6.
